AFRICA LEADERSHIP ENTERPRISE

ALE is the flagship program of the Foundation. There are FIVE (5) projects under the ALE which include:

The Center for Excellence in Leadership

This provides biblical leadership development, mentorship, discipleship and community service opportunities. Participation is voluntary and open to a maximum of 24 individuals per program year in each center of operation.

The minimal qualifications are: a high school certificate or equivalent; must be born again with a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ; must be a dynamic individual with a personal commitment to the Kingdom of God, and they must see Benel Afrika’s programs as a vehicle providing them the opportunity to SERVE God, the Body of Christ and impact their respective spheres.

A minimal charge for registration and administrative costs shall be required of each participant.

Fund for Leadership Development (FLD)

through this fund, give scholarships to select underprivileged children from marginalized communities in arid and semi-arid regions in Africa. These scholarships shall cover all levels of education but will, at university and tertiary college level, be disbursed to individuals pursuing leadership, governance, and management courses.

The scholarship beneficiaries must exhibit proven leadership qualities and must, at tertiary college and university level, be dynamic individuals with a personal commitment to the Christian Faith and the Body of Christ.

They must see ALE as a vehicle providing them opportunity to SERVE God, the Body of Christ and the Creation of God in whatever they undertake in life.

The fund shall also sponsor seminars and leadership development initiatives that aim to promote good governance and godly leadership in all spheres of life.

Upper Room Fellowship

Benel Afrika Foundation, through a well-trained core leadership group, facilitates home based, non – denominational Bible study, life skills coaching and social justice action groups that are modeled after the first century Church in the Bible.

In the New Testament, the upper room was the place for personal encounter with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:2 – 3); a place for sitting at the feet of Jesus Christ in Bible study; a place for Christian service, breaking of bread, sharing (John 13;1 – 17); healing, missions sendoff points and nurturing essential life skills.

The N. I. T Camps

Annual Christian camps for teenagers (ages 13 – 17) and young adults (ages 18 – 21) providing a platform for social and spiritual transformation. These camps will be held in the months of April, August, and November – December for between one to three weeks. The overall objective of the camps is to Nurture and Inspire the young generation to become Transformative servant leaders. Camp activities include biblical spiritual foundations training; life skills coaching; team building; outdoor excursions and community outreach.

The Camp is built around the theme “Discovery Me!”
